Clients Are Family

We, more than anything have built a relationship with our clients to the point where in many instances it feels like family. I remember a few years ago– many years ago probably, that I called on the telephone and I had to introduce myself, “Hi. It’s Rob Miller on the phone.” I asked for a particular person. And the person who answered the phone didn’t know who I was and they said, “Oh well, who are you?” I said, “Well, I’m his lawyer.” The person who answered the phone yelled back, “Hey Dad, it’s the lawyer on the phone.” When the dad said, “Oh it’s not the lawyer, it’s Rob.” That’s the type of relationship that I’ve built with most of my client’s.

Legal Philosophy

I had a client of mine, Scott – not too long ago – referred me a significant death case which was as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Importance of a Lawyer during Car Accident Litigation

I represented a man many years ago who was injured when a delivery truck crossed the center line and caused him horrific injuries. He was never the same. He was never the same husband. He was never the same father. He was never the same in terms of being able to walk or talk. That case, while it would seem to be open and shut and cut and dry, needed an experienced lawyer. It needed someone who was able to determine how the accident occurred, how the accident could have been prevented, and – more important – to document exquisitely his needs for lifetime care. While it may seem in some occasions in some auto accidents that the injury is easy to perceive, and the accident circumstances are easy to understand, oftentimes what is needed is a lawyer who has experience, and skill, and stature.

Some people refer to isolated ice patches as black ice. All that really means is it’s a clear patch of ice, and if the concrete is black or the asphalt is black it appears to be black. So often times you can’t see those ice patches. But once they turned to slash and you’ve drive through them, often times they are visible. So, if you know somebody who has been in a car accident after encountering black ice or an ice patch you need to call us.
