Marisela J. Marquez

Ms. Marquez obtained her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. While in law school, she competed on the Rosalie E. Wahl Moot Court team and received the Minnesota Justice Foundation Public Interest Law Fellowship. As a student certified attorney, she clerked for a criminal defense agency. Upon graduation, she gained valuable experience as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable John T. Finley of Minnesota’s Second Judicial District. She then accepted an associate position at a civil litigation firm in Minneapolis with a focus on workers’ compensation litigation. When her husband began his residency at the Cleveland Clinic, she relocated to Ohio and pursued her interest in immigration.
