Clients Are Family

We, more than anything have built a relationship with our clients to the point where in many instances it feels like family. I remember a few years ago– many years ago probably, that I called on the telephone and I had to introduce myself, “Hi. It’s Rob Miller on the phone.” I asked for a particular person. And the person who answered the phone didn’t know who I was and they said, “Oh well, who are you?” I said, “Well, I’m his lawyer.” The person who answered the phone yelled back, “Hey Dad, it’s the lawyer on the phone.” When the dad said, “Oh it’s not the lawyer, it’s Rob.” That’s the type of relationship that I’ve built with most of my client’s.

Legal Philosophy

I had a client of mine, Scott – not too long ago – referred me a significant death case which was as a result of a motor vehicle accident. I called up Scott and I thanked him very much and he said to me,”Rob, I’m not doing you a favor, I’m doing my friend a favor.” It’s that type of relationship that really means a lot to me. I strive every day to work very hard because not only Scott’s friend but all the client’s that I’ve represented, and all the future client’s I’m going to represent. I’m very proud of being a member of the Wapner Newman family.
