Entitled To Compensation

I often get asked from clients during an initial consultation with my Raleigh clientele, what types of compensation that they are entitled to in a personal injury case. Personal injury cases, individuals that are injured are entitled to different types of compensation, which consists of medical expenses. Those would consist of past medical expenses and future medical expenses, lost wages, if they missed time from work, pain and suffering, any permanent disability. For example, if someone were to have surgery, their treating physician may assign them a disability rate, and they would be entitled to compensation for that. And then, of course, the intangibles, or what I call them, which would be compensation for mileage to and from the doctor. And lastly, some clients with spouses would be entitled to compensation for, what we call, loss of consortium claim. If the spouse was inconvenienced as a result of the automobile or personal injury claim.
