An example of one of my pedestrian cases that I’ve handled was a young woman, actually I served with her in the United States Army, where she was walking on the sidewalk on her way to work and stepped on a utility box that was on the sidewalk and the utility box collapsed. The utility company had not properly maintained it or inspected it, and it was damaged and she fell into it, seriously injuring her ankle. She laid there on the sidewalk, waiting for people to stop by and help her. She eventually went to the hospital, and has a very severe injury affecting her work and ability to work and her lost wages.

And fortunately we were able to do some research and investigate which company owned that utility box, and present her case in litigation and obtain a favorable recovery for her, for her lost wages and pain and suffering.
