Used Car Lemon Law Protection

What happens sometimes is that this certified used car breaks down just like a new one does, or maybe that the repair facility that did the certifying didn’t do everything that they were supposed to do. So not only do you have this Lemon Law protection – where you can get the car bought back or repurchased – but you have another type of protection saying, “We certified every component,” and maybe they did and maybe they didn’t. So you have a thing – well not only is the car breaking down, but you didn’t really live up to these representations that you told me, that you certified this car and it had a thorough inspection. So you have two ways to go. You have the California Lemon Law protection and then there may be some other type of thing because the cars not really certified, you didn’t really inspect it the way you should have.  When I get a case I do my best to resolve that case as quickly as possible. I want to talk to the consumer, explain to the consumer what their rights are under the California Lemon Law, and get that thing over with and done as quickly as possible so they can move on with their life because I know it’s really important.
